Coming Soon: CANTATE DOMINO DCLM Center for
Liturgical Music Ministry
After years of music apostolate in the Diocese, DCLM is now proud to
announce its forthcoming opening of our CANTATE DOMINO DCLM Center for
Liturgical Music Ministry. In a meeting held last April 21, 2007 at the
Immaculate Conception Seminary in Guiguinto, DCLM requested from Msgr.
Andy Valera, vicar general, a space in the Malolos Chancery where DCLM
can hold office and put up even a small center for our music ministry.
Choirs can visit our center for their music needs especially music
sheets, cds, tapes and inquiries on seminars and recollections. The
Center, soon to be opened, is a vision of DCLM in the past years and now
dawning upon us its realization. Tentatively named CANTATE DOMINO (Umawit
sa Panginoon), the Center will be located in one of the office rooms in
the Malolos Chancery. Thanks to Msgr. Valera who granted our request.
So, watch out for the blessing and opening of our DCLM center.
FR. GBOI, to head the liturgical music in the Tagalog
Region
This week, news came announcing the appointment of Fr. GBoi A. Samonte,
DCLM chairman, as the new head of the liturgical music in the Tagalog
Region. The news was relayed to Fr. GBoi by Fr. Rey San Juan, our
Diocesan director for Liturgical Commission. The appointment came from
Bishop Deogracias Yniguez and Msgr. Moises Andrade who chair the Tagalog
Federation on Liturgy. Fr. Gboi has yet to meet the Tagalog Federation
to formalize and make official the appointment and to start the planning
for the task. The Tagalog Region includes the Dioceses in Batangas,
Laguna, Cavite, Rizal, Bulacan, Manila, Nueva Ecija, Zambales, Tarlac,
Bataan.

NEW SONGBOOK by FR. GBOI SAMONTE
I will be launching my new songbook this August 26 on my 10th
Sacerdotal Anniversary in St. Ildefonsus Parish, San Ildefonso
Bulacan. U can come and avail of the limited copies of the songbook
entitled DAHIL NAGMAMAHAL.it's not a complete collection of my works
but majority of the songs included are newly arranged for choirs in
SATB voices. I will be releasing the second volume soon.
